Be the voice that brings Quantitative Investment Strategies (QIS) to life for financial advisors and institutional clients. You’ll help translate markets and structuring into clear, actionable solutions that drive real client outcomes.
Job summary
As an Associate in Sales (Structured Investments), you will serve as a highly client-facing sales resource responsible for building and sustaining an active engagement cadence with broker-dealers, banks, RIAs, insurance clients, and ETF issuers, with frequent day-to-day interaction with financial advisors. In close partnership with third-party wholesaling partners, you will educate, position, and drive adoption of QIS solutions delivered through multiple product wrappers. You will coordinate with internal partners, including Trading and Structuring, to provide QIS updates, product positioning support, implementation support, and timely content in service of client outcomes. You will also develop a practical understanding of structured note construction by engaging directly with pricing models and modeling frameworks to construct and iterate indicative structures (terms, payoffs, scenarios, and tradeoffs) for client discussions.
Job responsibilities
- Maintain an active coverage and engagement cadence with financial advisors and institutional partners across broker-dealers, banks, RIAs, insurance clients, and ETF issuers.
- Partner with third-party wholesaling partners to plan outreach, prepare for meetings, deliver training sessions, and execute follow-ups that progress opportunities from education through adoption.
- Drive consultative sales conversations by translating QIS and structured investment characteristics into clear, client-relevant messaging tailored to audience and market context.
- Coordinate closely with Trading and Structuring to deliver timely QIS/product updates, respond to client questions, and support implementation and ongoing client experience.
- Support the construction and positioning of QIS-linked structured investments via indicative pricing, structure design, term iteration, and scenario analysis.
- Engage directly with pricing models and modeling frameworks to build and evaluate indicative terms, payoff profiles, scenarios, and wrapper-driven tradeoffs for client discussions.
- Maintain pipeline discipline and execution rigor, including tracking next steps, coordinating readiness/approvals, and gathering feedback to improve content and positioning.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 are required; candidates must already hold them or obtain them if not currently licensed.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and engage credibly with financial advisors and institutional partners through frequent meetings, training, and follow-up.
- Strong consultative communication skills with the ability to educate, influence, and tailor messaging to different audiences.
- Foundational derivatives knowledge, or demonstrated aptitude, relevant to structured products, including comfort with option-based payoff mechanics and client-relevant tradeoffs.
- Practical ability, or strong aptitude, to work directly with pricing models/modeling frameworks to construct and iterate indicative structures and scenarios.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with disciplined follow-through in a high-urgency environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently for client and advisor engagement.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Prior experience distributing QIS, systematic strategies, or structured investments to advisor and institutional channels.
- Experience delivering advisor education, including teach-ins, product deep-dives, and training programs, and producing advisor-facing materials.
- Familiarity with multiple delivery “wrappers” (e.g., structured notes, ETFs, insurance-linked solutions) and how wrapper constraints affect design and positioning.
- Demonstrated ability to partner effectively across Trading/Structuring and broader stakeholders to deliver implementation-ready outcomes.
