Overview
We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Product Manager to build and scale our Wealth Lending business across the wealth continuum (Treasures, TPC and Private bank).
This is a newly established regional role focused on developing and managing lending programmes, driving product innovation, and delivering competitive financing solutions that support the broader wealth strategy.
The role will be responsible for the end-to-end management of wealth lending products, including defining product strategy, establishing lending programmes, overseeing product lifecycle management, and driving commercialization across markets. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders across Wealth, Credit, Risk, Finance, Operations, and Technology to ensure products remain competitive, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Development
- Own the end-to-end product management of wealth lending solutions, including Lombard lending, securities-backed financing, and bespoke structured credit offerings.
- Define and execute product strategy, value proposition, and multi-year roadmap for the wealth lending portfolio
- Lead the design and establishment of lending programmes to support business growth across wealth segments
- Identify market opportunities and develop new product features, propositions, and capabilities that enhance the wealth lending offering.
- Partner with key stakeholders to develop scalable product frameworks and operating models for wealth lending solutions
Product Commercialization & Business Enablement
- Drive product awareness, adoption, and commercialization across markets through engagement with Relationship Managers, Investment Advisors, and Wealth teams
- Act as the subject matter expert for wealth lending products and provide guidance on product capabilities, features, and value propositions.
- Support product training, communication, and sales enablement initiatives to increase product penetration and usage.
- Gather feedback from front-office teams and translate market needs into product enhancements and strategic priorities.
Product Governance & Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with Credit, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and Technology teams during the development and implementation of lending programmes.
- Ensure product features, documentation, and processes remain aligned with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Manage product-related approvals, reviews, and governance requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
Product Lifecycle Management
- Manage the full product lifecycle from concept, design, launch, and ongoing enhancement through to repricing, repositioning, or retirement.
- Monitor product performance, portfolio trends, utilization levels, and profitability metrics to identify optimization opportunities.
- Drive continuous improvement of product processes, operating models, and supporting documentation.
Portfolio & Market Management
- Track market trends, competitor developments, and emerging practices in wealth lending to maintain competitive positioning.
- Support portfolio analytics, pricing reviews, and balance sheet optimization initiatives.
- Lead regional initiatives to harmonize product offerings and ensure consistency across markets where appropriate.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline
- 8 to 12+ years of experience in lending product management. Experience in Credit structuring or Credit approval is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of wealth lending products, including securities-backed financing, collateralized lending structures, and lending programme management.
- Demonstrated experience in developing, launching, and managing lending products and programmes.
- Proven ability to work across multiple stakeholders in a matrix environment, including Wealth, Credit, Risk, Operations, Finance, and Technology teams.
