Join our digital consumer banking offer Chase at our new JPMorganChase office in the heart of Berlin. In this exciting chapter of continued growth and expansion, we’re looking for a passionate Tax Operations Analyst to join our Commercial and Investment Bank (CIB) organization who can help us build and execute tax operations activities for the Chase Digital Bank in Germany.


As a Tax Operations Analyst, you will work closely with other Operation-teams to execute German Income Tax-related obligations and create a best-in-class customer experience. This role will require the creation of new or changing of existing operating flows, procedures, controls, and technology user guides. You will also build relationships with colleagues in Operations and other Corporate Functions to establish and refine ‘client journeys’. 
 

Job responsibilities  

  • Operate daily controls and tasks supported by a process-flow orientated application to ensure German Income Tax-regulations are meeting service level standards
  • Supporting activities in fulfilling the German Income Tax-reporting obligations together with root cause analysis
  • Build relationships with colleagues in other Operations and Corporate Functions to establish and refine ‘client journeys’

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills  

  • Risk and control mindset
  • Data-centric with an analytical approach
  • Team worker but also able to work independently
  • Strong communication skills in both German and English languages
  • Highly organised with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills 

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, IT, mathematics or natural science
  • 1-2 years’ experience in the financial industry
  • Experience in field of German Income Taxes and/or closely related subject areas
