Job Title: Technical Business Systems Analyst

JOB SCOPE
Serve as a strategic bridge between Business Units and the Business Technology (BT) organization, driving data-informed decision-making, streamlining processes, and translating business needs into scalable technology solutions. This role ensures alignment with both regional directives in the local Mexico City region and BT standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic & Operational Alignment
•Partner with business stakeholders to gather and interpret functional requirements.
•Ensure regional initiatives are consistent with global BT strategy, standards, and governance.

Data Analytics & Reporting
•Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI, Excel, and SQL.
•Analyze data to support performance tracking, business insights, and strategic decisions.

Project Management
•Assist in planning, executing, and delivering BT projects.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, milestones, and deliverables.

Process Optimization & Automation
•Identify opportunities for process automation and system enhancements.
•Lead or support API integrations and digital transformation initiatives.

Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management
•Act as a liaison between business units and the BT team to facilitate communication.
•Support change management efforts and drive user adoption of new tools and processes.

THE CANDIDATE PROFILE
Technical Skills
•5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or IT-business interface roles.
•Proficient in: SQL (Oracle SQL Developer, SQL Server) Power BI, Excel (Advanced), DAX, Power Query Python and Shell scripting (preferred)
•Demonstrated experience in: Developing business and commercial reports Managing data quality and compliance KPIs Leading API integrations and automation projects
•Strong analytical thinking, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.

Core Competencies
•Fluent in English; Spanish or French is a plus.
•Highly valued certifications:

- Lean Six Sigma

- Data Analytics - Finance for Non-Financials

- Project Management (e.g., PMP, Agile)

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or Business. Master’s degree is preferred.

Experience
•Minimum 5 years working in agile team environments.
•Prior experience with Oracle systems is preferred.

Location
Ciudad de México/Mexico City (Hybrid – 2 days onsite, 3 days remote)
