About The Department
UOB Innovation Hub 2 (InnoHub2) is a UOB-wholly owned subsidiary and a Centre of Excellence based in Malaysia, providing Group Business Services (GBS) to support the UOB Group. Started in 2021 with technology application design, development and support, InnoHub2 is expanding beyond technology services to deliver other business services to support the Bank’s growth ambition. We are looking for talented and motivated individuals to be part of the pioneer team spearheading the development and delivery of the new services.

Job Responsibilies
Responsible to analyse and define detailed functional specifications based on the functional and non-functional requirements document.
Collaborate with the business users and Functional Business Analysts to elicit end-to-end business process, functional, data and interface requirements.
Reviews high level solution and working with cross functional team to provide cost estimates.
Analyze the ‘to be’ process and perform gap analysis.
Define and ensure traceability from functional specifications to business requirements.
Responsible to create technical design.
Collaborate with Solution Architect to get guidance for Technical Design.
Ensure technical design adheres to architectural roadmap, development practices, and security requirements.
In case of vendor implementation:
Review functional specification written by vendor.
Ensure vendor resources create technical design document.
Review technical design document written by vendor.
Collaborate with developers and infrastructure teams to clarify functional specification and technical design during build, test and deployment phase.
Collaborate with Production Support team to establish IT operations procedures and document as part of Tech Design.
Coordinate execution of threat modelling process with assistance of Security Architect to ensure implementation of safeguards is comprehensive in accordance with threats.
Clarify test findings escalated by Test Manager and classify the findings accordingly (either as a defect or change request).
Ensure defect or issue raise are routed to the correct team for troubleshooting, analysis or fix.
Provide input to impact assessment and estimation for Project Change Request.
Work with Test Manager to review test plan and functional test scope.
Review test cases to ensure the test cases covered all the in scope requirement.
Provide SIT and UAT test support. Perform first level analysis on all the defect or issue raise before routed to the correct team for further troubleshooting, analysis or fix.
Manage the function validation support during UAT phases to ensure that requirement exit criteria are met correctly.
Facilitates/Provides “Train-the-Trainer” on application enhancements.
Manage, address, and resolve functional issues that arise in a timely manner, ensuring necessary escalation and communication to all stakeholders.
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate will be a dependable and resourceful technology management professional who can comfortably work in a large development organization in a globally distributed, dynamic work environment that fosters diversity, teamwork, and collaboration. He/she should be passionate about Technology and have a mindset to be technically hands-on if needed. Well-versed in the latest trends, especially around disruptive technology, and proven record in execution. The ability to work and thrive in high pressure environment is essential.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar domain related professional/technical qualification will be advantageous although not mandatory.
More than 10 years’ experience in developing and delivering global/regional IT capabilities for a multi-national/regional company.
More than 5 years of leadership experience in managing IT delivery teams.
Experience in banking or financial services processes, particularly Wealth Management, CRM or Credit Origination lifecycle
Experience in stakeholder management to align business and technical team
Experience in implementing large-scale, highly available applications or other large project implementation.
Proven result-oriented person with a focus on delivery.
Good understanding and experience in software development cycle.
Highly effective communicating with technical stakeholders, proficient communicating with non-technical stakeholders.
Good problem solving, analytical, synthesis, system thinking and solutioning skills.
