As a Technical Project Manager III at JPMorgan Chase & Co within Commercial & Investment Bank, you will help lead complex technology projects and programs that drive business goals and create value for clients, employees, and stakeholders. Job responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure timely and successful delivery of technology projects
- Uses enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate project planning and risk synthesis (e.g., drafting plans, RAID, and status narratives), validating outputs and handling data according to sensitivity requirements.
- Promotes reuse-first, AI-assisted practices for project governance artifacts and reporting, ensuring human review and alignment to delivery standards.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing risk management strategies to minimize impact on project outcomes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software development, quality assurance, and business stakeholders, to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals
- Utilize technical fluency to evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, platforms, and vendor products for project implementation
- Monitor project progress, adjusting plans and schedules as needed, and providing regular status updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication throughout the project or program lifecycle
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a fast-paced environment
- Hands-on experience developing and maintaining integrated project plans across multiple technology teams and workstreams to deliver against a shared program objective, including milestones, dependencies, and critical path management.
- Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support technical program management workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.
- Ability to review and validate AI-assisted plans, risks, and recommendations before use, escalating when uncertain and following data handling expectations.
- Exposure to a technology domain (development, QA, DevOps, data, cloud, architecture, etc.).
- Proficient in stakeholder management, with a track record of establishing productive working relationships and driving mutually beneficial outcomes
- Demonstrated proficiency in applying analytical reasoning and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, or operational objectives into manageable tasks and activities
- Strong capability in creating and delivering stakeholder-ready presentations.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Tooling competencies – JIRA, PowerPoint / MS Office / Confluence / SharePoint
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience with Monday.com or similar portfolio/work management tools.
- Experience in dependency-heavy programs and cross-team coordination.
- Familiarity with delivery metrics, governance KPIs, and portfolio dashboards.
- Monday.com / MPP or equivalent (preferred)
- Strong ownership, follow-through and Collaborative leadership and influence
- Ability to simplify complexity and drive clarity
Proactive risk identification and escalation discipline and AI tools for Project management
