What's the role?

As a Transaction Banking Manager, you'll be responsible for delivering specialist transaction banking, payments, and digital solutions to a portfolio of Emerging Corporate customers. Working closely with Relationship Managers across Commercial and Business Banking, you'll identify opportunities, deepen customer relationships, and provide strategic advice that helps clients optimise cash flow, automate payment and receivables processes, improve operational efficiency, and support business growth.

You'll partner with customers to understand their business operations and recommend tailored solutions across payments, collections, digital channels, automation, API and host-to-host connectivity, helping them streamline processes and unlock greater value from their banking relationship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver tailored transaction banking, payments, and digital solutions aligned to customer needs and business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to grow customer portfolios through innovative cash management and payment solutions.
  • Partner with Relationship Managers to develop customer strategies and drive revenue growth.
  • Provide specialist expertise across transaction banking products, including payments, receivables, digital channels, virtual accounts, liquidity solutions, and fraud mitigation tools.
  • Consult with customers on process automation, API and host-to-host connectivity, and integration solutions that drive operational efficiencies.
  • Support customers with complex payment requirements, helping them optimise working capital and enhance their payment and collection capabilities.
  • Build trusted relationships with customers, industry partners, and internal stakeholders.

What You'll Bring

  • Strong knowledge of Transaction Banking, Payments, and Cash Management solutions.
  • Experience working with automation, API connectivity, host-to-host integrations, and digital payment solutions.
  • Understanding of complex payment ecosystems, receivables, collections, and liquidity management solutions.
  • Proven ability to identify customer needs and deliver tailored, solution-based outcomes.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of achieving growth and revenue objectives.
  • Excellent relationship management, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills.
  • A consultative approach with the ability to simplify complex solutions for customers.
  • A customer-centric mindset and passion for helping businesses improve efficiency and grow.
