As an Cash Operations Transaction Processing Specialist within Payment Operations, you support day-to-day processing of client payments and help ensure transactions are completed accurately, on time, and in line with applicable controls. You partner with internal stakeholders to resolve inquiries and keep work moving efficiently. You escalate issues quickly and clearly to reduce client impact and operational risk. You contribute to continuous improvement by adopting and sharing best practices. You work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and prioritization matter every day. This role is intended to be for an initial term of 12 months only, however, subject to business needs, the contract may be extended or converted to permanent employment.

Payment Operations supports the execution and integrity of payment activity across multiple channels and counterparties. You’ll collaborate with transaction processing partners and business teams to deliver consistent service and strengthen process discipline. The team values a control-minded approach, constructive communication, and practical problem-solving.

Job responsibilities

  • Process client payment transactions accurately and within required deadlines
  • Monitor queues and deliverables to ensure timely completion and effective follow-through
  • Respond to inquiries from internal business partners with clear, timely updates and resolutions
  • Escalate exceptions, delays, and operational risks promptly with appropriate context and documentation
  • Partner with other transaction processing teams to adopt best practices and improve workflows
  • Maintain a controlled processing environment aligned with organizational policies and local regulatory requirements

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Original copy of Certificate of Employment Assistance Eligibility [보훈취업지원대상자 증명서]
  • Experience supporting international payment processing operations
  • Proficiency in English and Korean, with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work, meet tight deadlines, and maintain high accuracy while multitasking
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, adapt to change, and follow documented procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team and with cross-functional partners

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Good at Excel, comfortable with written/verbal English communication
  • Working knowledge of SWIFT messaging and international payment conventions and practices
