Summary:
The Treasury Management Region Sales Specialist Manager manages a team of Sales Specialists and Team Leaders (depending on size of market) within a region.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Works with Treasury Management Sales Leadership in the development of a sales strategy for the respective region of responsibility while ensuring the execution of the strategies.
- This role will interact with various senior leaders internally and externally.
- Internally this role will act as champion and liaison for coordinating activities with the various Market Presidents as well as with senior executives across Huntington Bank.
- Coach and develop TMS sales skills to create a path for colleague career advancement and bank growth
- Develop the Treasury Management Sales Specialist team’s business acumen and cash flow analysis skills to support more effective customer conversations and sales outcomes communicating direction and group strategy for meeting team goals.
- Evolve the TMS coverage model to optimize sales capacity and efficiency while ensuring accuracy and consistency across key job duties.
- Develop best practices for partnering with Treasury Management Advisors, Relationship Managers, Treasury Management Product, Service & Onboarding, and other stakeholders
- Serve as a partner to Treasury Management Sales and market leadership to provide insight and recommendations to support portfolio growth and relationship deepening
- Assist with implementation and training of new tools and processes within the Treasury Management Sales team
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- 10+ years of banking experience including 5+ years in a leadership role
- Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- Track record of achieving or exceeding sales and service goals
- Experience managing complex customer relationships
- Product knowledge
- CTP or other relevant professional designation
