Job Accountabilities

• Provide assistance in managing both pre-and post-bound activities for the assigned accounts, provide support to the underwriters in the areas of underwriting operations, procedures, policy endorsement and policy issuance
• Assist in executing underwriting plans for standard/tacit renewals or accounts with low complexity when needed and service strategy for these product lines
• Filing of underwriting information and client’s data, policy draft review and policy issuance
• Involve / attend internal and external meetings and assist in monitoring the service relevant business decisions made at meetings to ensure each decision is acted upon in accordance with the outcome of the meeting
• Support and streamlining the daily operations of various underwriting functions, including but not limited to data entry and administrative work on pricing system & update of new and renewal business record
• Timely update and use of Zurich internal system to proactively manage and improve underwriting and operation efficiency
• Actively involve in various projects and other ad hoc tasks assigned by team manager

 

Job Qualifications

• Degree holder in insurance disciplines is more preferrable
• Basic property insurance / General Insurance knowledge an advantage
• Good command in Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) and English, including both written / spoken English
• Self-motivated
• Good communication skill with quicker turnaround time and priority management skill
• Open minded, ability to work with people from different backgrounds, countries and cultures
• Eager to learn and discover new technical matters
• Attention to details
• Ability to anticipate and to proactively look for the necessary information
• Good knowledge in using various office computer software, MS Word, Excel, Power Point, generative AI applications
