Vendor Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as this role drives the foundation to provide an enterprise lens on vendor services starting from discovery efforts to align with our strategic goals.

Hybrid role based in Charlotte NC.

Job Duties:

• Execute a comprehensive strategy aligning vendors with company’s growth and operational objectives
• Lead contract negotiation to achieve favorable outcomes that create value without compromising quality or compliance
• Audit select vendor invoices to ensure appropriate cost controls; pricing remains in alignment with effort and estimating future costs based on forecasting
• Collect and document discovery information on the vendor portfolio landscape to evaluate and action leverage or consolidation opportunities
• Identify and evaluate new potential vendors that could add value and enhance our capabilities
• Primary point of contact for internal stakeholders on vendor-related initiatives, ensuring transparency and consistent communication
• Build trust by fostering strong, collaborative relationships and cultivating a diverse network
• Identifying and collaborating on continuous improvement opportunities 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business.
• 3-6+ years of negotiating and contracting experience.
• Proven experience managing vendors.
• Owned and closed buy-side deals not just administered them. 
• Negotiated services and indirect spend.
• Has experience with doing analysis in building it on their own or has the aptitude to do it
