Job Purpose
As Vice President in the Cybersecurity Audit team, you will lead end-to-end cybersecurity audits across the bank, providing independent assurance over the design and operating effectiveness of key cyber controls. Based in Singapore and reporting to the Cybersecurity Audit Lead, you will assess risks across established and emerging technologies, engage senior stakeholders on control matters, and support timely issue remediation and validation. You will also contribute to continuous auditing initiatives to enhance audit effectiveness, efficiency, and coverage of the evolving cyber risk landscape.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute cybersecurity audits across the bank, providing reliable and independent assurance.
- Assess the design and operating effectiveness of cyber defence controls, processes, and governance.
- Identify, evaluate, and communicate cybersecurity risks in line with regulatory, statutory, and internal control expectations.
- Engage senior stakeholders to understand business processes, provide control insights, and influence sustainable remediation.
- Develop audit scopes, work programmes, timelines, and resource plans.
- Track audit issues to closure and validate the effectiveness of remediation actions.
- Define and support continuous auditing requirements, including data-driven monitoring and thematic risk assessments.
- Monitor emerging cyber threats, technology trends, and regulatory developments to inform audit planning and coverage.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, technology risk, or technology audit.
- Strong hands-on experience in assessing cybersecurity controls independently.
- Good understanding of cybersecurity operations, cyber defence, governance, and application security controls.
- Ability to interpret vulnerabilities, assess risk impact, and recommend practical solutions aligned with industry practices.
- Familiarity with cyber-related regulations and supervisory expectations, including MAS, CSA, HKMA, RBI, and other financial services regulatory requirements.
- Masters’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or equivalent are preferred.
