Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the Taiwan Equity Fund, driving portfolio performance and investment outcomes.

  • Lead the development and management of the Taiwan country model for regional equity portfolios.

  • Serve as the Taiwan Country Specialist and sector lead for Technology, conducting in-depth research on Taiwanese companies and the broader regional technology supply chain.

  • Identify and evaluate investment opportunities through fundamental research, company engagement, and market analysis.

  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders to promote Taiwan equity strategies, support AUM growth initiatives, and contribute to new product development.

  • Lead the investment team, chair daily investment meetings, and ensure high standards of research quality, portfolio construction, and investment decision-making.

  • Provide coaching and leadership to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

Experience & Knowledge

  • Proven track record in portfolio management, with 5+ years experience managing Taiwan equity portfolios.

  • Strong expertise in equity research, market analysis, and identifying investment opportunities across the technology sector and related supply chains.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute investment strategies that drive portfolio growth and long-term performance.

  • Deep understanding of Taiwan's equity market, corporate landscape, and key industry trends.

Skills & Personal Attributes

  • Good written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin and English.

  • Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate investment views effectively to clients and internal audiences.

  • Proven leadership capabilities with experience managing and developing investment teams.

  • Collaborative team player with strong analytical thinking and decision-making skills.

License / Registration / Certification:

  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)

  • Senior Securities Broker License

  • SITCA License

*Please note that due to regulatory requirements in Taiwan, this role is required to work in the office five days per week.
