This role covers the full spectrum of public markets products across active, ETFs, index, and cash, including our iShares business globally. The successful candidate will partner closely with the Global Head of Public Markets Communications and senior business leaders to develop and execute proactive, multi-channel communications campaigns that drive commercial outcomes.
About Corporate Communications

The team is responsible for driving compelling communications and stakeholder engagement strategies that enhance our culture, drive growth, strengthen our reputation, and build our brand.
Responsibilities:

- Develop narratives that highlight BlackRock's public markets investment platform, elevating our position across product categories while building a narrative of choice, access, and innovation.
- Partner with product, investment, and client teams to promote key products and capabilities across our public markets platform.
- Create and drive communications strategies for thought leadership from our investors (e.g., Global Equity Outlook) tailoring messaging to reach different audiences (institutional/wealth/consumer).
- Drive coordination with internal partners to ensure that every campaign is measurable, leveraged across all channels and stakeholders, and priority messages are integrated into the firm's larger communications and marketing efforts.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships across a broad range of earned media, including leading business and financial media, trade and specialist press, and emerging/digital-first outlets, while counseling and preparing senior spokespeople for media engagements.
Qualifications:
- 9+ years of communications experience in financial services, ideally with experience in active, index, ETFs or the broader public markets investing landscape.
- Demonstrated understanding of the asset management industry and capital markets, including active and index investment products.
- Proven ability to mentor and develop talent.
- Experience engaging with senior executives; navigating complex, global organizations; and fostering collaborative decision-making among senior stakeholders.
- Exceptional media relations capabilities and the ability to translate complex topics to simple, compelling narratives.
- Track record of developing strategic, impactful communications plans across earned, owned, and paid that align with business priorities.
- Ability to multitask and operate with flexibility in a fast-paced environment to meet tight deadlines.
- Proven ability in working across different regions and times zones, particularly Europe and APAC.
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
