Purpose of the role:

This role leads the design, development, enhancement and ongoing support of Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) systems and technology solutions. Working closely with FCC subject-matter experts, System Transformation, Technology, Operations, business units and Group FCC, the role translates regulatory, business and operational requirements into effective, well-governed and auditable solutions. It is accountable for system projects, tuning and optimisation, analytics and reporting, production support, and continuous improvement, ensuring timely delivery, robust controls, data quality, operational efficiency and alignment with regulatory requirements and Group standards.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead the end-to-end design, development and enhancement of FCC-related systems, translating regulatory, business and operational requirements into effective technology solutions together with FCC subject matter experts
  • Oversee FCC system tuning, calibration and optimisation exercises, including methodology development, data analysis, testing, result validation and documentation, to maintain system effectiveness and efficiency
  • Develop and implement FCC analytics and reporting solutions, including data extraction, impact analysis, management information and automation, to support regulatory, operational and project requirements
  • Lead FCC system projects, including requirements analysis, solution design, impact and gap assessments, testing, implementation and post-implementation review
  • Proactively monitor project progress, deliverables, risks and dependencies; ensure timely completion against agreed milestones and escalate material issues with comprehensive assessments and recommendations
  • Provide ongoing production support for FCC systems by coordinating incident investigation, troubleshooting, remediation and change implementation with relevant stakeholders
  • Establish and maintain effective governance and controls over FCC systems, ensuring that requirements, testing evidence, decisions, approvals, configurations and changes are properly documented and auditable
  • Collaborate with FCC subject-matter experts, System Transformation, Technology, Operations, business units and Group FCC to align system solutions with regulatory requirements, business needs and Group standards
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation by identifying opportunities to enhance system performance, data quality, operational efficiency and control effectiveness
  • Promote knowledge sharing, cross-functional collaboration and best practices, and undertake other duties or ad hoc assignments as required

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline
  • At least 8-10 years of AML/CFT AML/CFT System Support & Solutioning related experience, within which at least 4 years at supervisory role.
  • Professional qualification on AML/CFT, e.g AAMLP/ CAMLP, ACAMS, etc. would be an advantage
  • Sound knowledge of AML/CFT System Support & Solutioning.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
