About the job:
As a Principal Manager – Risk Admission, you will play a key role in assessing complex transactions, acting as an advisor to the business team in structuring operations, always from a risk perspective. Your technical judgment and analytical rigor will contribute to sound decision-making by the risk committees, ensuring prudent management aligned with Spark’s strategic objectives.
Qualifications
Education:
University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related fields.
Postgraduate studies in Corporate Finance, Financial Risk, or Startup Investment will be valued.
Professional Experience:
Minimum 6–8 years of professional experience in enterprise or corporate risk analysis, venture debt, or financing for high-growth companies.
Experience in international environments and exposure to the European startup and venture capital ecosystem is highly valued.
Strong understanding of technology-based business models, unit economics, and investment fund dynamics.
Languages:
High level of English (minimum C1). Other European languages are a plus.
Technical Skills:
Expertise in credit risk assessment methodologies and corporate finance.
Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and wholesale banking risk policies.
Ability to assess companies with non-conventional financial structures (startups, venture debt, convertibles, etc.).
Soft Skills:
