Workday Functional Consultant

What you'll do 

As a Workday Functional Consultant within our HR Governance team, you’ll be responsible for optimizing and enhancing our Workday ecosystem to support evolving business and employee needs. You’ll work closely with HR, Payroll, Benefits, IT, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements, translate them into scalable Workday solutions, and provide functional expertise across Workday modules and business processes. The role will involve requirements gathering and analysis, business process design, Workday configuration, testing, issue resolution, documentation, and continuous improvement. You’ll also support Workday projects and enhancements from design through deployment, ensuring solutions are aligned with business objectives, Workday best practices, governance standards, and an effective employee experience.

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead and coordinate Workday-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives, providing functional support throughout the project lifecycle.

• Manage and maintain HR knowledge in Confluence, ensuring documentation is accurate, accessible, and optimized to support AI-powered solutions.

• Coordinate projects and enhancements with the global payroll provider to ensure efficient and compliant payroll processes.

• Lead initiatives to streamline and improve employee benefits processes and related Workday functionality.

• Develop and execute change management plans, including stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and adoption activities.

• Track project milestones, risks, and dependencies, providing regular updates to stakeholders and ensuring successful delivery.

• Provide functional support across Workday initiatives, including requirements gathering, business process improvements, testing, issue resolution, and continuous enhancement of Workday functionality.

Qualifications 

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. 

• Proficiency in Workday is required. Familiarity with Confluence and AI tools is desirable. 

• Experience managing HR projects within a Workday environment.  

• Experience with change management, and cross-functional project delivery. 

• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills 

• Fluency in English is mandatory for this role.

• Familiarity with AI concepts and its potential application in a business environment.
