We are to create a new standard for business payments and have made it our mission to simplify the purchasing experience for all businesses making it a tool for growth. About the role
As a Working Student in our Sales team, you’ll work closely with our Account Executives and Commercial Leadership with a focus on mid-market and enterprise sales. You’ll mainly own the first stages of the sales funnel, from lead research and qualification to initial outreach.
For smaller prospects and inbound leads, you’ll manage the full process yourself, all the way to go-live. Along the way you’ll see the entire customer journey, from first contact to implementation, and work directly with senior management.
What you’ll do
Identify and research prospects and their decision-makers to build and enrich our lead lists
Reach out to prospects via email, phone and LinkedIn and book meetings for our sales managers
Customize sales collateral and write compelling outreach that gets responses
Track and analyze your outreach performance and continuously improve response rates
Support the team with reporting, pipeline analysis and Salesforce hygiene
Help identify bottlenecks in our sales process and suggest data-driven improvements
Run smaller deals and inbound leads independently, from first call to live merchant
What you bring
Enrolled Bachelor’s or Master’s student (Business, Economics, Finance or similar)
Available 20 hours per week (up to 40 during semester breaks)
First experience in sales, business development or any role where you approached people
Native German and very good English (C1), spoken and written
Communicative and confident talking to people you don’t know
Organized, curious and comfortable with deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Big plus: experience with Salesforce
What We Offer:
Challenging and impactful work that drives personal and professional growth
Real responsibility from day one, including your own deals
Hands-on experience in the payments industry at one of Europe’s fastest-growing fintechs
Regular social events, lunch talks and our annual company offsite
A great office near Ostbahnhof with a free gym, snacks, fruit, coffee and drinks
Free German group classes
An English-speaking, multicultural team with more than 40 nationalities
Building meaningful connections with your colleagues through company and team events, interest groups, the Billie run club, game nights, and more, powered by our Formula Fun Team!
