AM Data Platform - Data Product Enablement Lead (VP)new

JPMorgan Chase (JPMC) · Other

We have an opportunity to shape how data products are delivered across Asset Management. In this role, you will help teams accelerate adoption of data product practices, improve consistency, and enable successful delivery at scale. You will work with a broad network of stakeholders to drive meaningful outcomes and support innovation through data.

As an Asset Management Data Product Enablement Lead in the Data Platform team, you enable Data Product Managers across Asset Management to create, launch, and mature data products effectively and consistently. You will partner closely with Data Product Managers and domain teams to provide hands-on guidance across the data product lifecycle, from intake through deployment and maturity tracking, ensuring teams have the support, standards, and practical assistance needed to progress data products efficiently. Sitting within the Data Platform team alongside peer Product Owners, including Data Quality and Data Marketplace, you will focus on execution support, adoption, and operating model implementation with Data Product Managers.

Job responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary enablement partner to Data Product Managers, providing hands-on support to shape data product scope, outcomes, and delivery plans from intake through launch.
  • Run enablement office hours and working sessions with Data Product Managers to help unblock issues related to intake, prioritization, dependencies, documentation, and lifecycle stage progression.
  • Translate the operating model into practical guidance for Data Product Managers, including playbooks, templates, checklists, and example artifacts that support consistent execution.
  • Guide Data Product Managers in producing high-quality lifecycle artifacts, including intake submissions, ownership clarity, documentation, maturity assessments, and readiness milestones.
  • Support portfolio visibility by helping Data Product Managers maintain accurate status, dependencies, risks, and release readiness inputs, and drive consistency of updates and reporting across domain portfolios.
  • Partner with the Transformation team to ensure operating model requirements are understood, adopted, and embedded into day-to-day Data Product Manager execution, with a focus on implementation and change adoption rather than platform build.
  • Coordinate with peer platform Product Owners to route Data Product Manager needs appropriately, reinforce integration points, and avoid duplication or confusion for end users.
  • Identify recurring Data Product Manager friction points and escalate patterns, requirements, and adoption blockers to the team responsible for tooling and feature delivery, acting as the voice of Data Product Managers and the adoption lead.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Demonstrated experience enabling product or program delivery in a data or analytics environment, such as product operations, delivery enablement, platform enablement, or workflow and portfolio enablement.
  • Strong understanding of data product concepts and lifecycle management, with the ability to coach others through practical execution.
  • Proven ability to translate operating model and process requirements into actionable guidance and drive consistent adoption across teams.
  • Experience working in a platform team model alongside multiple Product Owners and shared stakeholders, with the ability to route needs and drive alignment across groups.
  • Excellent communication skills across technical, business, and transformation stakeholders, with the ability to facilitate working sessions, drive clarity, and unblock teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to balance competing demands and help Data Product Managers prioritize effectively.
  • Experience delivering iterative rollouts of operating model adoption and managing dependencies and sequencing across a multi-phase roadmap from an adoption and implementation perspective.
  • Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • Experience rolling out intake, workflow, and portfolio ways of working in a data or analytics context, such as an enablement lead, adoption lead, or product operations partner.
  • Familiarity with data cataloguing, registry, and metadata management practices and how Data Product Managers should document and operationalize them.
  • Experience building communities of practice, training curricula, onboarding paths, and sustained enablement models for product manager populations.
