As a Trade Lifecycle Analyst in Foreign Exchange Operations, you will provide day-to-day operational support across the foreign exchange trade lifecycle, resolving queries, performing reconciliations, and delivering quality outcomes for clients and internal stakeholders. You will analyze documentation and data to support accurate processing and decision-making. You will identify control gaps, escalate issues appropriately, and contribute to process and technology enhancements. This role is based in Argentina.

Job responsibilities

  • Provide operational support for regional foreign exchange activity, including documentation review and data gathering
  • Perform bank reconciliations and investigate breaks to resolution
  • Analyze daily queries from internal stakeholders and clients, applying independent judgment and structured problem-solving
  • Take ownership of issues end-to-end, providing timely updates and client-focused outcomes
  • Interpret and apply company policies and procedures in day-to-day decision-making
  • Partner with teams across the trade lifecycle to improve efficiency and delivery standards
  • Perform quality assurance reviews to support accuracy and control discipline
  • Monitor timelines and service delivery standards, ensuring commitments are consistently met
  • Escalate risks, delays, or exceptions in a timely and well-documented manner
  • Identify process improvement opportunities, help close technology gaps, and support implementation through completion

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • Experience in trade lifecycle, operations, client service, or related functions within financial services
  • Experience performing reconciliations and investigating breaks or exceptions to resolution
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically and challenge the status quo constructively
  • Ability to interpret policies and procedures and apply them consistently in daily work
  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership through issue resolution
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including clear stakeholder updates
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and contribute as a team member
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience supporting foreign exchange products or workflows
  • Knowledge of Alteryx and/or Python for analysis and process improvement
  • Portuguese language capability
  • Experience identifying and implementing process improvements, including closing control gaps
  • Experience performing quality assurance or control-focused reviews
