The Wealth Management Marketing Operations team is looking for a talented email marketer and platform expert to execute communications in our digital channels, specifically leveraging Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) platform.
You're excited about digital marketing technology capabilities and partnering with marketing teams to bring the programs to life and analyze the results. You're obsessed with optimizing marketing technology platforms to personalize the digital client experience across web and email to drive engagement. Responsibilities:
- Assist with project management responsibilities, including developing project timelines, reporting key milestones, and prioritizing tasks for project stakeholders.
- Guide and direct project team members to ensure compliance with established standards, procedures, and guidelines.
- Manage all aspects of projects, including planning, communication, risk assessment, resource coordination, and execution.
- Flawlessly execute marketing campaigns and provide support to product and marketing colleagues throughout campaign build, testing, and execution across various marketing technology platforms, primarily Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Rigorously track and monitor past and current campaign performance and user behavior to recommend strategies and campaigns that drive conversion and engagement.
- Stay current on marketing technology industry trends and platform capabilities to optimize and extend marketing effectiveness across digital channels.
- Help build a marketing technology center of excellence by developing rigorous QA processes, A/B testing strategies, and best practices for email and web. Provide value-added insights to drive marketing excellence and optimize platform capabilities to deliver results.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners across Marketing, Product, Technology, and other cross-functional teams to support effective campaign execution and platform optimization:
Qualifications:
- Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, timelines, stakeholders, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate marketing objectives into clear execution requirements and provide creative guidance on email design, messaging, and user experience.
- Superb organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and a process-oriented mindset, with a focus on operational accuracy, quality assurance, and risk mitigation.
- 6-9 years of hands-on experience with marketing technology platforms, including ESP and marketing automation tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar platforms.
- Deep hands-on experience building, testing, and deploying email campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Email Studio, Content Builder, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, and Data Extensions.
- Demonstrated ability to code and troubleshoot responsive email templates using HTML, CSS, AMP script, and personalization logic; experience building dynamic content, conditional content blocks, and personalized email experiences is required.
- Experience using SQL within Salesforce Marketing Cloud for audience segmentation, data manipulation, campaign targeting, reporting support, and automation workflows.
- Experience leveraging Salesforce Marketing Cloud AI and optimization capabilities, including tools such as Einstein Engagement Scoring, Einstein Send Time Optimization, Einstein Content Selection, Einstein Copy Insights, or related AI-driven personalization and performance optimization features.
- Strong understanding of email campaign operations, including intake, build, audience selection, segmentation, QA, approvals, deployment, post-send validation, and performance reporting.
- Knowledge of email marketing best practices, including subject lines, preheaders, messaging hierarchy, segmentation, list management, preference management, deliverability, accessibility, and CAN-SPAM/anti-spam requirements.
- Experience with digital campaign effectiveness measurement for clients and prospects, including cross-channel marketing performance, test-and-learn strategies, audience insights, and optimization recommendations.
- Comfortable working with Salesforce CRM campaign tracking and related data flows between CRM and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Ability to partner effectively with Marketing, Compliance, Legal, Technology, Data, Analytics, Creative, and business stakeholders to deliver campaigns that meet business objectives and governance standards.
- Strong understanding of Financial Services products and the industry, including experience supporting marketing efforts for Financial Advisors, Wealth Management businesses, or client/prospect engagement programs, a plus.
- Highly collaborative, self-motivated, results-oriented, and intellectually curious, with the ability to work independently while escalating risks and dependencies appropriately.
- Resourceful technology-minded problem solver who is comfortable learning new platforms, AI capabilities, data concepts, and marketing automation approaches.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Technology, Operations, Communications, or a related field.
