About this role
At BlackRock, our Client Due Diligence and Documentation teams play a critical role in supporting client onboarding, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence across the firm. The team works closely with Legal, Compliance, Sales, and Client Businesses to ensure client and counterparty relationships are established and maintained in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements, while delivering an exceptional client experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure counterparties meet applicable AML/KYC requirements and that the appropriate due diligence processes are followed for new mandates and periodic client reviews.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and retrievable records of AML/KYC, tax, contractual, and other client documentation.
- Capture, review, and manage contractual data and documentation for new and existing clients, ensuring accessibility across the business.
- Respond to business queries related to client documentation and contractual data.
- Partner closely with Legal, Compliance, and other internal stakeholders to manage exceptions and ensure adherence to BlackRock policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of controls, processes, and operating procedures, identifying opportunities for innovation and efficiency.
- Participate in strategic and regulatory projects, representing both the client and the team to ensure change impacts are understood and effectively managed.
- Stay informed on financial market developments and regulatory changes, assessing their potential impact on client arrangements and operational processes.
- Produce regular management information and reporting, and support the preparation of policies, procedures, and presentations.
Skills & Experience
- 1-3 years of relevant experience within Financial Services, Asset Management, Banking, Operations, Compliance, or a related environment.
- Experience handling client documentation, AML/KYC processes, due diligence reviews, or broader documentation and data management activities.
- Familiarity with AML/KYC regulations and client onboarding processes is preferred.
- Asset management industry experience is advantageous but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across stakeholders and client groups.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple deliverables and deadlines.
- Professional certifications such as CAMS, ICA, or equivalent are beneficial.
- Additional language skills such as Spanish, German, French, Italian, Dutch, or Polish are an advantage.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Our hybrid work model
