EB Operations Team Leader - GFX Tradingnew

Your main responsibilities will Include:

• Ensure accurate & timely order placement and execution of process GFX trades and proper follow up on escalation for all issues and outstanding matter. 

• Initiate and support process improvements to make the process more efficient or mitigate risks.

• Act as the primary point of coordination for escalated operational incidents, client complaints, and service-related issues, ensuring timely investigation, resolution, and communication with relevant stakeholders.

• Attend to any ad-hoc and escalation queries received from Transfer Agent, Fund Manager and Clients. 

• Identify and challenge non-standard or exception-based processes, ensuring thorough risk assessments and appropriate controls are in place prior to implementation.

• To be involved in any other task that assigned by the management including system enhancement functions, provides feedback on Business Requirement Documents, and participates in user acceptance testing as needed. 

• Regularly review the team governance, documentations, procedures, risk assessment document etc. 

•  Assist Operations Manager for any relevant ad-hoc task.

• Requirements:

• 5-7 years of industry experience related to financial services operations with understanding of investment operations and operational excellence.

• Proficient in English with outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in additional languages is preferred.

• Well-developed organizational and critical thinking skills to resolve complex day to day issues independently.

• Good interpersonal skills and networking abilities with sub-custodians and both internal/external departments.

• Detail oriented, excellent accuracy skills and good understanding in mutual fund and hedge fund are strongly recommended.

• Working hours: 3.00pm – 12.00am / 4.00pm – 01.00am Malaysia time.
