- Investment unit reconciliation
- Cash flow monitoring and management
- Cheques handling or monitoring
- Assist the team with all enquires
- Assist the business with all enquires
- Support the Finance Operations team to ensure alignment with the company’s mission, strategy, and objective
- Implement standardisation of business processes to drive operational performance
- Support Senior Analysts in regular review of work practices/procedures to identify opportunities to improve quality or productivity
- Participate in ad hoc projects and/or tasks which provide value added service and a reduction in operational risk to the MUFG Group which facilitate retention of existing profitable business and profitable growth of the client portfolio
- Bank reconciliations prepared, with all exceptions investigated and cleared
- Clearing account reconciliations prepared, with all exceptions investigated and cleared
- Investment unit reconciliations prepared, with all exceptions investigated and cleared
- Cash flow monitoring and management
- Cheques monitoring
- Provide status update on daily bank reconciliation, cash flow management and investment unit reconciliation
- To adhere to Finance Operations processes
- Guide and train new team member(s) as when needed.
- Ensure that all operations and practices are compliant with legislative requirements and Company policies and to critically appraise internal practices to achieve best practice
- 1-2 years of relevant ORSO, pension funds, insurance or asset management with bank reconciliation experience
- Computer literate (Word, Excel, Windows)
- General ledger knowledge (preferably Peoplesoft)
- Proactive with problem solving and analytical skills with organised and methodical approach to work undertaken
- Strong communications skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work with limited supervision and under pressure
- Strong work ethic
- Team focused
- Detail oriented and accurate
- Takes personal responsibility for meeting commitments and deadlines
