The Finance function is responsible for providing treasury management services in respect of both client and own funds, financial planning & analysis, financial accounting and reporting, commercial finance and tax support to all business units and functions throughout the Computershare Group. 

Treasury Front Office manages the day-to-day fund movements for large dollars. The team performs analyses and recommends a variety of treasury activities including, but not limited to, internal investment activity, external investments, banking relationships, and cash management. 

The role must also work collaboratively with other global teams, supporting continuous improvement initiatives and a variety of project related activity.

A role you will love

 

The FX & Trading Project Lead will conduct a comprehensive review of the company’s foreign exchange (FX) processes, exposures, controls, systems, governance, and operating model. The purpose of the role is to diagnose current‑state risks and inefficiencies, identify opportunities for improvement, and deliver clear recommendations to transform how FX is managed across the organisation.

This short‑term role is ideal for a senior treasury practitioner or consultant with deep FX expertise, strong diagnostic skills, and experience delivering transformation recommendations.

  1. Current‑State Assessment of FX Activities
  • Review the end‑to‑end FX workflows globally

  • Map processes across front office, middle office, back office, accounting, and business units

  • Assess performance of current FX solutions, including potential for renegotiating with existing providers

 

2. Process, Control & Policy Evaluation

  • Assess the effectiveness of current controls, including approvals, segregation of duties, limit structures, and compliance with treasury policy

  • Identify control gaps & operational risks

  • Review FX‑related policy documents and make recommendations for improvements

 

3. Market Benchmarking

  • Compare current FX activities to best‑practice standards in similar multinational organizations

  • Benchmark execution quality, pricing competitiveness, and bank utilization

 

 4. Recommendations & Future‑State Design

  • Deliver a set of prioritized, actionable recommendations to improve efficiency, control, and risk management

  • Design a target operating model (TOM) covering processes, roles, responsibilities, systems, and control enhancements

  • Identify quick wins, medium‑term actions, and long‑term structural improvements

     

 

What will you bring to the role?  

You’ll bring strong project management capability, a collaborative approach, and the confidence to deliver workstreams in a global, fast‑moving environment. You should be able to operate independently, make informed decisions, and build effective relationships across the business. Other key skills required for the role include: 

  • Degree educated or equivalent qualification or experience 

  • Expert in Front Office Treasury in a global environment and the associated regulatory landscape;

  • Experienced in developing and implementing Client Treasury strategies in a global organisation, with direct experience of the Treasury framework in multiple jurisdictions;

  • Previously operated at a senior management level; 

  • Knowledge in automation and centralisation of a Treasury function; and

  • Expert in overseeing the financial management and fiscal health of the organization
