  • Support the end-to-end investment process, including financial analysis, market research, competitive assessments, investment memoranda, legal documentation, and transaction execution, including coordination of cross-functional stakeholders and governance processes to support investments.

  • Manage investment pipeline, portfolio reporting and governance activities, providing insights and updates to senior stakeholders.

  • Support portfolio development and value creation, by facilitating strategic engagement opportunities between portfolio companies and Deutsche Bank stakeholders, including new technology evaluations, proof-of-concepts, commercial relationships, and knowledge transfer activities.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of the Corporate Venture Capital platform, including knowledge management practices, reporting frameworks, market intelligence, and the implementation of AI-enabled tools that enhance the effectiveness and scalability of the function.

Your skills and experiences

  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience in Venture Capital, Corporate Venture Capital, Growth Equity, Investment Banking, or a high-growth technology company, with exposure to evaluating investment opportunities and strategic technology themes.

  • Strong analytical and commercial skills set, including experience in financial modelling, market research, due diligence and valuation, with the ability to develop clear and well-supported investment recommendations.

  • High levels of initiative, curiosity, and ownership, with a desire to learn, take on responsibility, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment at the intersection of venture investing, technology innovation, and strategic collaboration across Deutsche Bank.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with founders, investors and senior business and technology stakeholders, and prepare concise investment materials and reporting.

  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
