Overview

The Loan Servicing Specialist I is responsible for the set up of CIS Records and its related activities.  The position is also responsible for the processing of standard loan payments, General Ledger Reconciliation and processing of standard maintenance transactions in conjunction with these activities.  

Responsibilities

• Create CIS records for new borrowers and Beneficial Ownership requirements• Review and ensure accurate Beneficial Ownership Certification have been provided and follow up with internal customers to ensure regulatory compliance• Reconcile General Ledger activities for invoice, payment processing and Suspense accounts• Set up assessment of fees related to invoice processing on the loan record • Review and ensure all incoming wires are distributed and reconciled• Process standard payment transactions• Process CIS and non-monetary loan maintenance changes • May perform callback for transactions related to these processes• Respond to internal inquiries on the above processes• Create Management reports for Compliance and General Ledger Certifications• Perform End of Day Balancing• Process all other miscellaneous activities as requested

Qualifications

• Associate Degree preferred, or equivalent work related experience
• Minimum 1 year of work experience preferably in Banking
• Loan system experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to changes and perform in a fast paced environment
• Ability to build effective relationships as needed to effectively address issues and obstacles

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is USD $20.00/Hr. - USD $23.50/Hr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
