Manager, Marketing Governance

Our International Card Services (ICS) team brings together our International Consumer and Small & Medium Enterprises (SME) issuing activities, as well as our Commercial Large Market sales and account development teams outside of the United States, under a single organisation to accelerate our growth.

This role is key to ensuring that ICS communications are following all regulatory and compliance policies and processes, and that customer communications regarding changes are delivered in an efficient, comprehensive and timely manner. Reporting to the Director, Growth Customer Marketing, this position will suit someone who understands data-driven decision making, customer communication processes, and has a strong track record in successful project and stakeholder management.

  • Manage the workflow and timing plans for accurate and timely roll out of projects.
  • Oversee the project management of Compliance & Product Change initiatives, including stakeholder management, collateral updates and customer communications.
  • Manage customer & internal communications, including updates to customer collateral, websites and Sales communication templates, and coordinate change communications.
  • Manage quarterly compliance audits to ensure ICS marketing complies with required audit processes, including marketing reviews, system access, etc.
  • Manage the monthly Campaign Council & Marketing Gate Approval process, including the Customer Marketing communications calendar and VP approval process.
  • Provide people leadership for four Assistant Marketing Managers.
     
  • Experience in Marketing Governance and/or Project Management, ideally in the Financial Services industry.
  • Experience working within a regulated environment and navigating compliance and governance requirements.
  • Strong people leadership experience.
  • Ability to drive results and innovation in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to deliver against clear timelines and project milestones.
  • High attention to detail and strong quality control management. 
  • Critical thinker who is detail-oriented and has a thirst for knowledge, with the ability to navigate multiple requests while staying on top of internal regulations.
  • Solution-oriented, with the ability to develop solutions to complex issues.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholder relationships, with strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Strong communicator, with the ability to influence and gain support for strategies and tactics.
  • Strong analytical, creative and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborative team player.
