ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic European Payroll Analyst to join our growing European Payroll team on a permanent basis. Based in Lisbon, this role will be responsible for overseeing Portuguese payroll operations and working closely with external payroll providers who prepare payrolls across our European subsidiaries (including Spain, UK, Malta, Sweden, and other markets).

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in operational payroll, including hands-on experience with Portuguese payroll mechanics, local statutory compliance, and managing multi-country third-party payroll providers across Europe.

  • High-Growth Experience: Prior experience in a fast-paced FinTech, technology, or multinational environment is highly desirable.

  • System Proficiency: Hands-on experience with modern HRIS platforms (e.g., HiBob, Workday) or local Portuguese payroll tools/bureau portals is desirable, but not essential.

  • Skills: Strong analytical and numerical skills, high attention to detail, and collaborative working style. Solid understanding of local labor legislation, social security rules, and tax regulations in Portugal.

  • Languages: Fluent in English and Portuguese.
