The Private Wealth Service and Support Associate provides high quality operational and service support to Private Wealth clients and colleagues under the guidance of senior team members. In this role, you will assist with transaction processing, account servicing, and inquiry resolution while learning Private Wealth products, systems, and regulatory requirements. The Associate contributes to a positive client experience by delivering timely, accurate support and demonstrating a client first mindset.
This role is designed as a developmental position that builds foundational knowledge of Private Wealth operations, risk awareness, and client service, while preparing the Associate for increased responsibility over time.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end processing and servicing Private Wealth client requests with oversight and guidance from senior team members.
- Exercise reasonable diligence when reviewing client requests to ensure items are complete and in good order, escalating questions or concerns appropriately.
- Assist with monitoring and researching account activities, transactions, and discrepancies, partnering with senior specialists for resolution.
- Support margin, trade, and account related activities by gathering information, documenting findings, and communicating updates to Private Wealth colleagues.
- Accurately process daily business activities including money and asset movement, account opening, account maintenance, and basic trade and fee processing.
- Engage with Wealth Managers and customers through inbound calls and electronic inquiries to process routine requests, answer questions, and provide general product and service information.
- Learn and follow company policies, risk management practices, and regulatory requirements, escalating potential issues in a timely manner.
- Partner with internal teams across Citizens Wealth to support client servicing needs and divisional objectives.
- Deliver efficient and timely transaction processing while meeting established service level expectations.
- Apply problem solving and analytical skills to support satisfactory resolution of client inquiries, escalating more complex issues as required.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow through on requests to ensure completion and quality service delivery.
- Demonstrate curiosity and a willingness to learn business processes, systems, and Private Wealth products.
- Participate in training, coaching, and feedback sessions to build technical knowledge and professional skills.
- Support team objectives and contribute positively to a collaborative, client focused environment.
Qualifications, Education, Certifications and Other Professional Credentials
Required Qualifications
- Series 7 and either the Series 63 OR 66
- Minimum of 5+years of experience in the financial services industry, including Options, Margin, Control or restricted stock support
- Strong customer service skills, with demonstrated success supporting clients and resolving complex issues
- Ability to analyze complex situations in a high risk, fast paced environment
- High level of technological proficiency and ability to learn new tools
- Strong consultative and influencing skills to enhance and enrich the client experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to train, support, and guide team members
- Completed High School degree or GED equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Series 24 and/or Series 4
- Demonstrated successful stable work history
- Completed associates and/or bachelors college degree
Hours and Work Schedule
- M-F: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM ET with occasional overtime in the evening or on weekends may be required based on business needs
- 100 percent in office until fully trained, with potential for a hybrid schedule of 4 days in office and 1 day work from home based on performance and business approval
