A role you will love 

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will provide Leadership to a team (5+ Direct reports) on an agreed shift pattern, with responsibility for ensuring the day-to-day co-ordination, preparation, production, and dispatch of physical (paper based) customer communications. These paper based communications have to meet stringent regulations in relation to Service Level Agreements that have to be met.

You will be providing expertise and oversight of the team operating specialised production equipment and performing tasks including but not limited to;

  • Production scheduling for print and insertion environments.

  • Cut- Sheet digital printing on Toner and Inket production printers.

  • Manual and Automated Booklet making.

  • High and Medium speed mail enclosing equipment.

  • Operating Auxiliary equipment.

  • Inventory management

  • Manual hand sorting and enclosing.

  • Shipping systems such as USPS, Fed Ex and UPS

 

You will be working in environment where maintaining a high level of discipline and accuracy in ensuring that processes and quality control methods are a part of the everyday culture and service that is focused on meeting the clients’ expectations and set KPI’s.

Some of your key responsibilitiesmay include: 

  • Accountable for your team delivering the set daily volumes of work on your shift.

  • Ensuring your shift is sufficiently resourced to meet daily output and managing work allocation across your team.

  • Oversight and and final signoff’s of established quality control processes to ensure output meets desired standards.

  • Performance management of your team - Cross skilling and training of existing and new staff on all machine operations and functions to develop a flexible workforce.

  • Point of contact and liasion with the Client services team to ensure pre-production issues are resolved.

  • 100% reconciliation of all output across the shift to ensure all work is compliant and in line with Computershare and customer requirements.

  • Demonstrate safe working practices and ensure the “Computershare Health and Safety Management” policy is adhered to across all functional areas.

  • Co-ordination and escalation management of all downtime events with vendor technicians including planning maintenance activities on a monthly schedule.

  • Ensure quality products are produced 100% of the time in line with equipment manufacturer specifications and ISO 9001:2018 procedures and work Instructions. 

  • Implement initiatives to improve the productivity, quality and timely production in the operations environment, as well as preventative actions to prevent recurrence of Quality Incidents.

  • Accountable for the tidiness and cleanliness of the Production facility. 

  • Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) - pro actively work with the Management team and Facilities team to ensure HSE standards are adhered to and maintained. Escalation of all non-conformances to production manager or member of the HSE Committee.

  • In addition, some flexibility is required in this position if an occasion may present when an urgent task (outside of the general nature of the role) is required to be performed in order to meet CCS client’s needs. This includes operating equipment and assisting in other departments. 

  • Flexibility to work outside your normal shift hours, overtime, weekends and holidays. 

  • Ensure data protection compliance at all times per CPU guidelines and annual certification via compliance training.

  • High School degree or equivalent;

  • High degree of accuracy and excellent attention to detail

  • Flexible approach to tasks & working hours with a productive mindset

  • Strong written and verbal skills, including the ability to interpret instructions and train others.

  • Computer literate.

Compensation. The typical base pay range for this role is $34-$41/hr.  This base pay range is specific to the Edison location and may not be applicable to other locations.
