We are seeking a talented individual to join our Workers Compensation team at Marsh. This role will be based in our Brisbane office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days in the office.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting injured workers, building rapport across stakeholders and contributing to positive return to work outcomes. You will be part of a Workers Compensation consulting and injury management team, with the chance to build your capability and progress your career through hands-on experience.

The role suits someone who is organised, attentive and comfortable juggling a mix of client service, case management and administration responsibilities. If you are looking for meaningful work where you can help people recover and return to work, this could be a great fit.

We will count on you to:

  • Perform outsourced Return to Work Coordinator functions, managing the return to work process for injured workers, including triaging and lodging new claims promptly
  • Develop and maintain return to work plans tailored to the needs of injured workers, ensuring compliance with employer obligations and best practice
  • Liaise with injured workers, employers, insurers and other stakeholders to share updates, gather information and address concerns throughout the return to work process
  • Review claims to assess progress and recommend actions that support recovery and return to work
  • Administer injury management software, prepare reports and maintain accurate documentation to support effective injury management practices

What you need to have:

  • Experience in claims management functions at an insurer or employer
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness
  • A proactive approach to managing tasks and identifying opportunities
  • Confidence making decisions and evaluating options effectively
  • Willingness to take on additional responsibilities and support the Workers Compensation team during busy periods
