Support Head of Korea
- Prepare presentations, briefing notes and internal memoranda.
- Draft meeting agendas and accurately record minutes for both internal and external meetings.
- Conduct research, gather relevant market intelligence and data, and coordinate calendar invitations for t calls and meetings.
- Maintain and update client databases and distribution lists, for and on behalf of offshore affiliated marketing entities ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders across investment, product, compliance, and operations teams to support business development initiatives.
- Monitor industry developments, competitor activities, and institutional market trends across Asia Pacific.
Support Asia Institutional Distribution Business
- Gather and analyze market intelligence, client information, and industry data to support the development of sales and market share of offshore affiliates in Korea.
- Conduct research and comparative analysis of institutional investment markets, clients, and competitors across the Asia Pacific region.
- Coordinate and arrange meetings, including preparation of meeting materials and documentation of meeting minutes as required.
- Facilitate communication of client requests to relevant colleagues across regional and global offices to ensure timely follow-up and execution.
- Support business development initiatives by monitoring market trends, identifying opportunities.for offshore affiliated entities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across investment, product, client service, and distribution functions to support client engagement activities.
- Ensure client inquiries and requests are attended to in a timely and professional manner, working closely with internal stakeholders as required.
- Monitor client activities, investment interests, and business opportunities to support relationship development for and on behalf of offshore affiliated entities.
- Facilitate communication between clients and regional and global investment, product, and distribution teams.
- Assist in gathering client feedback and market intelligence to support business development efforts.
- Ensure high standards of client service and adherence to internal compliance and regulatory requirements.
Assist Korea Branch Administration Operations
- Provide administrative support to the Korea Branch to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.
- Coordinate business travel arrangements, meeting schedules, and visitor logistics.
- Prepare and maintain branch records, reports, presentations, and administrative documentation.
- Assist with expense processing, invoice management, and vendor coordination in accordance with company policies.
- Liaise with internal departments, including Compliance, Finance, HR, Operations, and IT, on administrative matters.
- Support local regulatory filings, audits, and branch governance requirements as directed.
- Coordinate office facilities management and maintain relationships with external service providers.
To be successful in this role you will have...
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualification.
- 4-8 years of experience in asset management, institutional sales, client servicing, distribution, or related financial services fields.
- Strong understanding of institutional investors and investment products across public and private markets.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Copilot) and Salesforce.
- Highly organized, proactive, and capable of working under pressure while meeting tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in spoken and written English and Korean.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
It would be great if you also had...
- Working knowledge of investment consultant databases and market intelligence platforms, such as Mercer, Morningstar, and eVestment.
- Understanding institutional investment management, performance measurement, portfolio analytics, and investment research.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize market and investment data into meaningful insights for clients and internal stakeholders.
- CFA Charterholder, CFA candidate, CMIA holder, or other relevant investment-related professional qualification preferred.
