We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst (SBA) to join our team working within the Core Bank Enablement Value Stream within the Core Bank CIO.
As the Senior Business Analyst in this role, you will work closely with other Business Analysts and change colleagues, delivering against a significant change portfolio.
With a proactive, highly motivated mindset, we’ll expect you to be hands on, collaborating with and influencing senior stakeholders, designing and delivering solutions that underpin our Core Bank (SAP).
In addition to supporting the delivery of changes, our teams also support and contribute to the wide BA community within the Core Bank as well as supporting the BA & PO practice.

What you’ll be doing
As a Business Analyst in this role, you’ll be working closely with other BA’s, building, managing, and leading in relationships, effectively engaging with the Change team. You’ll be accountable for the scoping, planning and defining approaches for initiatives, translating business content into relevant deliverables, providing analysis along the way to prompt successful completion of objectives.
You’ll be using your own initiative in this role and required to work with a pro-active mindset and an aim to identify, escalate and resolve issues/ risks. As a Senior Business Analyst, you’ll strive for continuous development in your work, identifying areas for improvement throughout the lifecycle of a change.
With relevant experience under your belt, you’ll be using your business analysis or solution knowledge to identify solutions to achieve the best outcome, influencing business resolutions with confidence and innovation to achieve the best results.
About you
Significant experience of working within a business analysis role
Excellent insight in defining business requirements and non-functional requirements with the ability to analyse and problem-solve to determine solutions
You’ll have demonstrable experience operating within governance, risk and compliance frameworks in a fast-paced delivery environment
An understanding of and the ability to accommodate the needs of multi-disciplined teams, consisting of internal and external resources i.e. third-party suppliers
An understanding of business processes e.g BPMN and how technology supports business change
A good understanding and experience in documenting operational impacts in relation to implementing change within an organisation
Experience of leading the task management to on / offshore teams
Demonstrable evidence of coaching and developing people
Experience of delivering change through a variety of approaches including agile and waterfall
