Job Description:
This job is responsible for defining and leading the engineering approach for complex features to deliver significant business outcomes. Key responsibilities of the job include delivering complex features and technology, enabling development efficiencies, providing technical thought leadership based on conducting multiple software implementations, and applying both depth and breadth in a number of technical competencies. Additionally, this job is accountable for end-to-end solution design and delivery.
Responsibilities:
Ensures that the design and engineering approach for complex features are consistent with the larger portfolio solution
Define the technology tool stack for the solution and evaluate and adapt new testing tool/framework/practices for team(s)
Enables team(s)/applications with Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD) capabilities and engages with other technical stakeholders pertaining to efficient functioning of CI-CD pipeline
Guides and influences team(s) on design and best practices for high code performance –e.g. pairing, code reviews
Provides end-to-end delivery of complex features, including automation, for either a single team or multiple teams, at the program level
Conducts research, design prototyping and other exploration activities such as evaluating new toolsets and components for release management, CI/CD, and features
Works with stakeholders to establish high-level solution needs and with architects for technical requirements
Lead the design, stability, and evolution of the eRates US Treasury pricing and quoting platform, ensuring a resilient and scalable architecture across multiple lines of business.
Provide technical leadership for pricing-related initiatives, helping to reduce operational risk, close knowledge gaps, unblock deliveries, and accelerate execution through modern engineering and robust development practices.
Drive the retirement roadmap for legacy pricing platforms, while maintaining platform reliability and supporting business growth.
Partner closely with Electronic Trading, Quantitative Services, Model Risk, and Front Line Units to build and design robust pricing solutions for a critical franchise.
Required Qualifications:
Deep understanding of financial engineering, quantitative pricing models, and Rates products, with experience partnering closely with Quantitative Research teams to design and implement scalable pricing frameworks and model integration architectures.
Extensive experience building and supporting electronic trading, pricing, or quoting platforms within Rates or Fixed Income markets.
Strong product domain expertise with deep Java development and distributed systems design experience.
Proven ability to lead complex platform modernization, improve platform stability, and operate effectively in high-availability production environments.
Experience with RACE or a comparable enterprise pricing platform.

Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity, knowledge transfer, and delivery velocity.
Demonstrated success leading large-scale platform migrations, technical transformations, or legacy platform retirement initiatives.
