- Key Responsibilities
- Support Methodology and Assumption team to perform analysis on actuarial assumptions.
- Comprehensive analysis of results under various sensitivities
- Perform experience analysis based on recent data
- To support the analysis and investigation on technical queries, both internal and from model validation team and external auditors
- Provide support and guidance to more junior members of the team in a range of project work as and when required
Additional responsibilities
- Seek and act on opportunities to develop wider and deeper technical and business understanding.
- Planning and resource management to ensure timely delivery. Effective communication with different stakeholders required.
- Compliance – Ensure understanding and adherence to M&G Global Services’ Code of Conduct and, where appropriate, comply with all relevant regulatory policies. This includes completion of any mandatory training requirements.
- Responsibility for the supervision of other junior team members or delivery of specific pieces of work.
- Performance Management – follow and contribute to the recognised Performance Management process.
- Maintain and develop knowledge of technical requirements of job together with the framework in which M&G Global services operates.
- Ability to develop clear, workable plans for self; monitor progress of the other junior members of the team;
- Positive attitude to analyse a complex problem in a project to ensure the delivery of a sound solution to the project stakeholder
- Ability to effectively influence colleagues
- Ability to plan and prioritise own workload
- Ability to deliver on multiple tasks to demanding timescales
- Communicate effectively with others, develop positive networks and working relationships
