We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Specialist, Agentic KYC Review & Controls to join our KYC/AML Operations team. This role is located in Singapore.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Apply agentic AI capabilities across KYC review, case assessment, and control workflows for institutional clients across APAC.
  • Review onboarding and periodic review cases in line with regulatory obligations, internal policy standards, and control requirements.
  • Assess ownership and control structures, source documentation, and client information, and validate the quality and accuracy of case analysis and AI-supported outputs.
  • Review complex entity types and challenge case outcomes or AI-generated outputs where information is incomplete, inconsistent, or below required standards.
  • Validate account activity reviews and correspondent banking due diligence to ensure financial crime risks are appropriately identified, documented, and escalated.
  • Identify red flags, control gaps, workflow weaknesses, and quality issues, and escalate material concerns to Compliance and senior stakeholders.
  • Partner with Front Office, Compliance, Operations, and technology teams to resolve issues, strengthen controls, and support consistent KYC standards.
  • Support the design, testing, refinement, and continuous improvement of agentic workflows within KYC processes.
  • Translate business needs into practical AI agent use cases, workflow logic, review criteria, and operating procedures.
  • Monitor AI-supported outputs for quality, consistency, usability, and control alignment, and recommend enhancements based on findings and stakeholder feedback.
  • Support responsible adoption of agentic AI through strong documentation, human oversight, clear escalation paths, and control-conscious workflow design.
     

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

  • Strong familiarity with agentic AI concepts, human-in-the-loop review models, workflow orchestration, and responsible AI adoption.
  • Experience supporting, assessing, or improving AI-enabled workflows, intelligent review solutions, or automation-driven operating models is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to identify business use cases for agentic AI and translate operational needs into practical, control-conscious workflow requirements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to assess outputs, identify root causes, and connect workflow performance to business and control outcomes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex KYC, control, workflow, and technical concepts clearly to different audiences.
  • Effective stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across business, compliance, operations, and technology teams.
  • 5 – 7 years of experience in financial services, including at least 5 years of relevant experience in AML/KYC, customer due diligence, onboarding, compliance, risk management, audit, quality control, or quality assurance.
  • Experience in KYC quality control, quality assurance, case review, testing, or sampling within institutional or corporate banking environments is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in correspondent banking due diligence, account activity review, and financial crime risk identification is preferred.
  • Good understanding of KYC/AML rules and regulations across relevant jurisdictions.
  • Familiarity with OFAC, FATCA, CRS, MiFID II, and banking or financial products is beneficial.
  • Fluency in English, Traditional and Simplified Chinese, including Mandarin proficiency, is strongly preferred to support the client segment.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Administration, Economics, Banking & Finance, or a related field.
  • High attention to detail, sound judgment, adaptability, and a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
