HUB International — U.S. Internship Program | San Diego, CA | June–August 2027 | 8 weeks, full-time
About this role
HUB International is more than an insurance broker — we're a network of doers with diverse stories and a shared goal: to support our clients and communities. This internship is your entry point into one of the fastest-growing industries in North America.
You'll work alongside our Commercial Lines, Personal Lines, Employee Benefits, or Retirement & Private Wealth teams, gaining hands-on exposure to client service, sales, risk, and more — learning directly from industry experts across the country.

Day-to-day responsibilities
Client engagement — Work with sales and service teams to support clients across the U.S., understanding their unique regional needs.
Policy administration — Gain hands-on experience managing policies, endorsements, renewals, data, and claims support.
Market research — Support analysis of U.S. insurance markets and emerging regional trends.
Technical training — Participate in workshops that deepen your skills and industry knowledge.
Reporting — Prepare presentations and reports that communicate findings to internal stakeholders.

The expected salary range for this position is $18 - $20/hr depending on geographical location and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include health/dental/vision/life/disability insurance, FSA, HSA and 401(k) accounts, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses, equity and commissions for some positions.
