The Team Lead – Technical Recruitment is responsible for leading a team of recruiters while driving the end-to-end recruitment process for technical and technology-focused positions. This role supports business objectives through proactive sourcing, assessment, and hiring of top talent, while ensuring a positive candidate and hiring manager experience.
The successful candidate will develop diverse talent pipelines, provide strategic recruitment guidance to stakeholders, analyze recruitment metrics, and foster a high-performing recruiting team. This role demonstrates behaviors aligned with U.S. Bank's Purpose and Core Values.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of people management experience leading recruitment teams (required)
- 10+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in technical recruiting
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience recruiting for technology organizations within the financial services, banking, fintech, or technology industry
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Advanced knowledge of talent acquisition, sourcing, and selection processes
- Proven experience leading and coaching recruiting teams
- Strong understanding of technical talent markets and recruitment strategies
- Effective project management and organizational skills
- Strong networking, marketing, and stakeholder management capabilities
- Ability to analyze recruiting data, trends, and metrics
- Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Workday
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of technical recruiters
- Drive recruitment strategies and hiring delivery for technical roles
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and provide market insights
- Build diverse talent pipelines through innovative sourcing methods
- Monitor recruiting performance, metrics, and process effectiveness
- Ensure compliance with recruitment policies and best practices
- Promote an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location five (5) days per week.
