As a Specialty Product Specialist IV in Trade and Working Capital, you will process trade finance transactions that facilitate the purchase and sale of goods while mitigating associated risks. Within Trade and Working Capital Operations, you will ensure all transactions comply with JPMorgan Chase policies and ICC rules (e.g., UCP600, ISBP, URR725). You will monitor processing queues, allocate work, and prioritize items (including follow-ups) to meet SLA and quality expectations. You will detect and escalate red flags, including OFAC concerns, AML issues, and boycott-language breaches, to protect the firm and its clients. You will partner with other processing teams to adopt best practices and ensure timely, high-quality delivery. You will proactively identify and escalate issues that could impact service levels or timelines. You will collaborate and communicate effectively with teammates, management, and Sales/Service/Product partners. You will apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high accuracy and attention to detail while managing multiple priorities. You will maintain a process-oriented mindset, understanding upstream and downstream impacts and conducting detailed research to resolve issues. You will also participate in new projects and help maintain a controlled environment that complies with firm policies and local regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibilities

  • Process transactions in line with JPMorganChase policies and ICC rules (e.g., UCP600, ISBP, URR725).
  • Monitor processing queues, allocate work, and prioritize items (including follow-ups) to meet SLA and quality expectations.
  • Detect and escalate red flags, including OFAC concerns, AML issues, and boycott-language breaches.
  • Partner with other processing teams to adopt best practices and ensure timely delivery, going above and beyond when needed.
  • Proactively identify and escalate issues that could impact service or timelines.
  • Collaborate effectively and communicate clearly with teammates, management, and Sales/Service/Product partners.
  • Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Manage priorities and multitask efficiently without introducing errors.
  • Maintain a process-oriented mindset, understanding upstream/downstream impacts and performing detailed research to resolve issues.
  • Participate in new projects and maintain a controlled environment compliant with firm policies and local regulatory rules.

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Minimum 2years of Trade work experience.  
  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Requires strong computer skills, common PC based software packages including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Must be fluent in English language: Excellent Verbal, Written & Presentation skills.  

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Background in Banking industry is an advantage preferably with Accounting and Finance background.
  • (CDCS) Certificate for Documentary Credit Specialists & (CITF) Certificate in International Trade and Finance certifications will be an added preference.
