Job Summary
As a Vice President, Data Governance – Data Use within the Chief Data Office for the Commercial & Investment Bank, you will lead data-use governance and risk management activities across global business lines. You will own end-to-end management of data-use cases, from intake and classification through review, decisioning, and ongoing monitoring. You will help set the strategy for responsible data use and drive execution across high-impact initiatives, balancing innovation with strong controls. You will work with us to improve governance processes, implement standards and risk-based frameworks, and maintain inventories that enable informed decision-making. You’ll collaborate with partners across legal, compliance, privacy, cybersecurity, technology, operations, and analytics to deliver outcomes that are clear, measurable, and sustainable.
You will operate in a dynamic environment where demand for data continues to grow and expectations around responsible use continue to evolve. You’ll translate complex governance and risk questions into practical decisions and scalable processes that teams can follow consistently. This role requires executive-level communication, strong judgment, and the ability to drive alignment across diverse stakeholders.
