This is an exciting opportunity to join the Global Derivative Solutions (GDS) team in Asia. The team delivers derivative, financing, and structured investment solutions to sophisticated private banking clients, while also supporting broader platform and solution development initiatives.

As an Investment Product Specialist on the team, you will be involved in combining market analysis, product expertise, trade execution, and client engagement to identify and implement investment opportunities aligned with client objectives and the firm’s investment views.

Job responsibilities:

  • Serve as a key member of the Global Derivative Solutions team, delivering derivative, structured investment and concentrated stock management solutions while supporting broader platform development initiatives.
  • Partner with bankers, investment advisors, and specialists to deliver tailored investment and risk management solutions for sophisticated private clients.
  • Support the execution and lifecycle management of complex investment transactions, liaising closely with Trading, Structuring, Risk, Operations, and Product teams.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across Private Banking and Investment Banking, including Capital Markets, 23 Wall, and Strategic Solutions Group to deliver integrated solutions and strengthen client relationships.
  • Drive the development of new products, solution capabilities, and strategic initiatives in response to client demand and market opportunities.
  • Prepare analyses, proposals, presentations, and business cases to support transaction execution, client opportunities, and business growth.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to bankers and internal stakeholders, enhancing solution expertise and client engagement.

 

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • University degree in finance, economics, or related disciplines.
  • Expertise in derivatives, structured investments, and concentrated stock management solutions.
  • Experience supporting the execution and lifecycle management of complex investment, financing, and structured transactions.
  • Experience developing new products, solution capabilities, and strategic business initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of market risk, trade mechanics, financing structures, and operational considerations.
  • Excellent analytical, project management, and communication skills.
  • Advanced Excel and quantitative analysis capabilities.
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple stakeholders including Sales, Structuring, Trading, Legal, Compliance, and Operations.
  • High level of integrity, teamwork, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with private banking and holistic solutions for ultra-high net worth entrepreneurs and family offices.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin to support clients and stakeholders in China and other markets.
