You help us stay strategic and proactive by identifying optimization opportunities and coordinating work across groups to maximize contract value while minimizing risk.

You also contribute to financial forecasting and budget planning for the software contracts we manage by partnering with teams such as Sourcing, Finance, and the Product Owner.

Job responsibilities

  • Create and deliver software compliance reporting, including trends and insights to support cost control, pre-audit readiness, and ongoing compliance
  • Maintain accurate software and contract records across repositories and license management systems; monitor changes and assess/communicate downstream impacts
  • Perform periodic internal compliance audits to reconcile entitlements (licenses purchased/rights granted) against deployments and consumption across physical and virtual environments, software-as-a-service platforms, and third-party cloud environments
  • Partner with software product owners to determine strategy, optimize usage ahead of maintenance renewals and contract negotiations, and avoid unnecessary costs; support financial forecasting and budget planning for assigned contracts
  • Coordinate with product owners, Vendor Management, Sourcing, and Legal to identify and remediate license gaps when consumption exceeds contractual entitlements
  • Collaborate with the Software Discovery team to ensure discovery tools accurately and comprehensively detect software usage for assigned publishers; identify work, assign dates, follow up to ensure success, and drive optimal outcomes for internal customers
  • Uses enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to speed up incident triage and trend analysis from operational signals, validating outputs and handling operational data according to sensitivity and security requirements.
  • Applies reuse-first, AI-assisted practices within incident/problem/change routines to identify recurring interruption patterns and support validated remediation actions aligned to resiliency and security expectations.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support production support workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.
  • Ability to review and validate AI-assisted incident recommendations before action, escalating when uncertain and following operational and security expectations.
